My name is Raphaela Raggam (24). When I was 14 years old, I attended “Die Graphische“, the Austrian Federal Education and Research Institute for Graphics in Vienna, with the main focus on photography. During those five years I could develop a good understanding for design and photography. After I graduated, I successfully completed the bachelor’s degree in mediatechnology „Medientechnik“ at „FH St. Pölten“, the university of applied science in St. Pölten, Austria.
My internships in various fields of expertise: ranging from working for the photographer Mathias Kessler in New York, assisting at the local television studio in Park City (PCTV) and working for the usability company USECON in Vienna gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge in the multimedia sector.
Telling stories with photography or through video is my passion. During summer in 2016 I was traveling to Utah and Arizona (USA) to document the life of the Navajo Nation (the native Americans). It was such an honor for me that they invited me to take part in their ceremonies. I love to explore different cultures and nature. During fall 2017 I took a solo road trip across Utah to see all the breathtaking National Parks.
