My name is Raphaela Raggam. When I was 14 years old, I attended the Austrian Federal Education and Research Institute for Graphics (“die Graphische“) in Vienna, with the main focus on photography. During those five years I was able to acquire a deeper understanding of design and photography. After I graduated, I earned my bachelor’s degree in media technology („Medientechnik“) at the university of applied science („FH St. Pölten“) in St. Pölten, Austria.
I have completed many internships in various fields ranging from working for the photographer Mathias Kessler in New York, assisting the local television studio in Park City (PCTV) and working for the usability company USECON in Vienna. This gave me the opportunity to gain a lot of experience in the multimedia sector.
Telling stories with photography or through video is my passion. During summer in 2016 I was traveling to Utah and Arizona (USA) to document the life of the Navajo Nation (the native Americans). It was such an honor for me that they invited me to take part in their ceremonies. I love to explore different cultures and nature. During fall 2017 I embarked on a solo road trip across Utah to see all the breathtaking National Parks. Since 2018 I have been producing, filming and editing corporate films, interviews and events for various companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
